We have an Agfa Avantra 44 and recently started to have a problem with the bridge Its not going light when activating it but the motor is working and activating the sensor. No errors at all. Just staying heavy requiring 2 people lift to change the film. Any suggestions?

Thanks Had a 25 which i will stick in for now and pick up some 5 microns for the future. For some reason we were never told to change it and never though about it so its at least 5 years old! and we run up to 2 rolls a month.

There is a patch you can install to make it do the maths - i love it.

A few konica machines will do it but you can only use the bypass feeder with minimal capacity.

the 20 sheet booklet maker has a limit of 105gsm with one 200gsm cover But i quite often run 130gsm + 200gsm cover with no issues (fooling it of course) I find it stupid that it will let you fold 19x 105gsm + 1x 200gsm but not let you fold 4x 130gsm same as the 6501 will duplex 300 no...

you replace 3-4 drums on a job 2000 sheet??? We would be lucky to replace a drum every 50,000 sheets+ on both our Xerox 5540 and Konica 6501

Its a pretty capable machine and the LU-202 is almost as good as the PFU (not much in it) I dont know how your price relates (from australia) but if its a good price its a capable machine.
