A new generation of aqueous inkjet printers from THINK LABORATORY -- a major supplier based in Japan – has licensed Harlequin’s new multi-level screening technology RIP that prints onto plastic film, ideal for short-run food packaging.
Harlequin’s new RIP is able to vary the amount of delivered ink from the inkjet head to any one location on any type of media to overcome common problems such as streaking and mottling. The printer and RIP will be shown at drupa.
