AB Dick 385 Weight

Hello,

Any knowledgeable printers out there:

How much does an AB Dick 385 weigh? I am limited by a 2000lbs elevator and want to make sure not to go overweight, it's an old elevator.

I just happen to have a AB Dick 385 and the weight including the pallet is 1242lbs. Hope that helps.
Now, if you have a color head, yes Townsend did make a color head back in late 60' early 70's for the 385 that will have to go up the elevator by itself. It probably weight in at about 1200 lbs by itself.

Great! That is exactly what I was looking to hear. No colour head on this one so it will fit just fine down the elevator. I am moving a Windmill as well (which is dangerously close to 2000lbs with the feed/delivery removed) and they felt about the same weight when jacking, so I started to worry. I guess it goes to show that you can't really feel weight through a jack or crowbar.
