We imported this 2nd hand AB Dick 9995A/Ryobi 3302HA(2000) from UK and having an electrical problem. We need your expert help to solve it. There is no AB Dick/Ryobi service agent in Sri Lanka. We also do not have electrical diagrams either.
Problem:
1st Unit printing impression is not ON when the paper reaches blanket cylinder.
All the other functions are OK but paper passes through 1st unit without getting printed.
Our findings:
1. The solenoid coil, related to the moving of mechanical arms to on impression, does not get energized on time
2. Solenoid Coil is ok and it is getting energized when power is supplied
3. The supply to the solenoid coil is from PCB and through a relay ( we found that the relay is working when we interchange it to an another position )
4. Power supply to the Relay coil is from PCB and that supply does not come ON when the paper reaches the blanket cylinder.
Please advice whether it is due to
1. missing input signal to the PCB
2. defect of the IC in the PCB
