AC Transfer Mode? Ricoh c9100

So I'm still getting used to all the settings on my Ricoh c9100 after coming from a versant 2100. I'm curious as to what AC Transfer Mode [049] is in the advanced paper settings and what it does/how does it effect the print? Should it be enabled all the time on every stock or off or is it stock dependant?

If I recall correctly - I think it can be good for difficult/textured stocks to get a good transfer

Possibly the equivalent to Image Transfer Enhancement on the Versants

If 049 Transfer Mode = ON, then AC Transfer Mode values 050 - 071 are active.
If 049 = OFF, then Paper Transfer Current values 037 - 048 are active.
