Adjusting sensors for new plate media on Screen 8000II

Hello all. I'm attempting to test a new develop on press plate but every time I try to image one my Screen 8000II acts like it doesn't see it and throws an error. Is this something that can be adjusted in a service menu? Trying to avoid a service call just to test a new brand of plates. Any help greatly appreciated.

It's a several hours job for a qualified engineer I'm afraid and comes down to setting plate geometry, sensors, exposure parameters etc. Any advice implying otherwise coming from "friendly" people must be taken with a spoonful of salt.

Normally if you have some service manual and some experience
in your machine, you can do that carefully.
Not intimidate with qualified engineer.
Only using the " common sense" the best invaluable tools.
