Advice for perfect binder

Hi all.

I am looking to buy a perfect binder, I have been using Fastbind Elite (Bookbinding Machines, Book Binding Equipment, Fastbind Book Binding), and we need more speed. We are small quick/digital printer doing short run books (1 - 500)

This is our demands.
- Small footprint
- more productivity
- Easy to use
- PUR ??

Any ideas ?

Horizon, Duplo & Bourg all have an automated single clamp binder and are streets ahead of where you are in terms of the quality of the bind and speed. All have their strengths, there is no clear winner between these three models.

If you are considering PUR, there are two options - a standard tank installation and a spray installation. Spray is far more expensive but you don't have to drain the tank when you have no more books to bind, therefore is more suited to short run.

PS - all are 3 phase I believe, although Horizon and Duplo do little desk top machines that are single phase.
