HP PrintOS Users are now using embedded technology from the arifiQ estimating platform to automate the estimating & processing of one-off printing jobs to save on overhead costs.
Here’s how it works:
The HP PrintOS-based arifiQ estimating engine creates on-the-fly quotes, job tickets, gang-runs, optimized impositions & production routing for a full variety of print jobs moving through their combined workflow—including ad-hoc jobs requiring custom quotes—allowing printers to take in those ad-hoc jobs from any source and go non-stop to press. Using PrintOS Box & PrintOS Site Flow, job tickets & print-ready imposed PDFs are quoted & imposed in the arifiQ engine, with pre-flighting happening within minutes in HP PrintOS.
One such customer, Hudson Printing—the first U.S. print service provider to try HP PrintOS / arifiQ—uses PrintOS Site Flow for web-to-print catalog products and are now also using it for their ad-hoc digital print jobs.
