There are in fact other reasons to want / need PDF 2.0 and PDF/X-6 including official support on a per object basis if desired for Black Point Compensation, production metadata via DPart data, page level output intents that can override the document's output intent, etc.IMHO - unless you have a workflow requirement to embed cXF data into your PDF files and then exchange them with some print service provider that can actually extract or process that cXF data, not seeing WHAT the urgency here is.
