Anyone any in depth info on Adobe Lean-print?

Saw this today… is it some kid of single user ink-save?

From the brochure: "The solution uses an innovative method to reformat the layout of documents while printing from popular business productivity applications and web browsers. Adobe LeanPrint."

The reformatting appears to just make the page elements smaller and then placing more of them onto a single sheet. I.e. A three page document is made to fit on one page. Optionally, color pages can be converted into greyscale to reduce toner usage.
