aperature jam

can anybody give me info on this ,aperature jam on a avantra 25, i have a parts machine if i need to replace something, i havent had this error before. I dont know for sure but i think it is in the box in front of the spinner. thanks

I doubt you should replace the Aprature ٫ appreture motor or the sensor. At least not for now.
Open the Allen screw inside the appreture Assy and release the Motor Shaft. Turn the shaft back till the flag is partially outside tye sensor. Clean the sensor and tight the shaft.
Note: It is hard to reach the Allen screw holding tye shaft with Carriage Assy installed.

There’s a one way bearing in the center of the appeture disc it has possibly dried out
does the disc rotate easily in both directions?
there should some resistance in one direction only, the bearing may need a drop of lubrication
