Are presstek plates any good?

Is anyone currently using PRESSTEK plates, in particular the AURORA PRO process-less plates, are they any good, and what has the suppliers customer service been like?

If you have delta damping DO NOT USE anything from presstek. We have been getting a tracking problem at 2000 sheets, thats on Anthem Pro and less on the Aurora. So to fix our on going problem Presstek wants to switch us to a Agfa plate, what does that say about that company.

Thanks for the heads up John, at least I know what to look for now if I do any trials with the plates, much appreciated thank you.

We are having image breakup on Anthem Pro Plates at 5000 impressions or less. Did you have anything like this?

the problem we see looks like a perf wheel from lead to tail. shows up in as little as 1500 sheets depending on ink coverage.
