Avanti Computer Systems—Print MIS software—and Enfocus BV—PDF editing & workflow automation—have announced an agreement under which Avanti will market, sell & support Enfocus products in Canada and the United States.
As an OEM, Avanti will offer Enfocus Switch, Enfocus PitStop Server and Avanti Slingshot, together, with training and support services, to current & new customers. Providing a complete solution from a single source will give customers a smooth, uniform and efficient integration, backed with the support they are accustomed to receiving from Avanti.
Avanti will also utilize the Enfocus Appstore by making Avanti apps available for Enfocus that ease the integration with Avanti Slingshot, making it uniform for all customers. The apps will provide bi-directional JDF job ticket exchange for automated job processing and updates of production status back into Avanti Slingshot. While job processing is fully automatic, customers will remain in control over processes using dashboard and reporting features present in both Slingshot & Switch.
