Banding on Roland FJ-540

Hi guys can anybody help we have two roland fj-540 running side by side with different rips. A problem started a few weeks back with horizontal banding on both presses. Roland engineers have looked at problem but just scratched there heads with no resolution.

Hi ,
I had the same problem ......... you need to change the Encoder strip .

The engineer that solved the problem turned off calibration on the printer and it is now controlled by rip and it is working fine now.
