Ink, press wash, incompatible blanket/ink combination, incorrect plate/blanket pressures, inefficient automatic blanket washers, Image burned in with UV light/heat.

my guess, is the type of ink you are using. Make sure the blanket is made for the type of ink you are using

Please provide us with more information:
What type of press?
What type of ink (Heatset, UV, Oil base, Sublimation)?
What type of blanket (Conventional,Compressable)?
Auto wash or manual?
Wash up chemical being used?
This info will allow us to better identify the problem.

We use some recycled wash combined with fresh wash to clean our rollers up but never in our Automatic Blanket washers, Press Manufacturer told us only to use fresh wash for the blankets.

I would agree with Cornish. Try using fresh wash on the blankets for a week and see if the staining is eliminated. Keep us informed.
Do you mean that there is still ink on the blanket?
Some staining is inevitable and will always be vsible.
Is the solvent approved for use by Roland
How old is the press? are the blanket wash brushes worn out?
Are you replacing the used up surfactant in the recycled solvent?

Staining of the blanket is a most misunderstood term. What is usually inferred is that the colour left on the face of the blanket is almost impossible to remove from the surface.
Tip -- all new mounted blankets should be "Primed" first with --
1 Liquid Quickset Ink Reducer or Heatset Ink Liquid Reducer, if time permits allow 5 - 10 mins. for the reducer to penetrate into the blanket face, before washing off.
