What is a blister pack? I am new to the printing industry and curious about their function and uses.

A blister pack is a form of plastic packaging that is molded to suit numerous smaller commercial goods. These packages are a common sight in the pharmaceutical industry and retail stores. They have a plastic cavity section where the product fits and a lidding that allows for removal of the product. Blister packs often use paperboard card for such a backing.

You also need a high solid Sheetfed ink and a Blisterpack coating. I have heard of many horror stories that the blister pack fail. Get it done with an experienced packaging house.
