Brisque 6F1 wont start

Yes you read correctly. Ye olde Brisque won't start!
One of the power supplies died. I replaced the dead one and it will now boot to green login screen, but then gives a gray screen with a black X and goes back to the green login screen again.
Can't get to root either. Looks like the system disk is the problem. I swapped the system disk from top to bottom slot but this stops the login sequence even sooner.

Any ideas out there?

Did you check using the specific IBM Service Manual?
This is a great resource, they describe the POST (Power On Self Test), explain the diagnostic codes and recommend Removal and Replacement Procedures.
Helped me out every time I had a problem with my old 6E3.

Yes, great manual, that's where i was able to find out one of the power supplies was a problem and replace it.
