Canon USA has announced the availability of their A-1Sensing Unit. Previously announced for the imagePRESS C10010VP Series, the A-1Sensing Unit can now be attached to the imagePRESS C910 Series to adjust & monitor front-to-back registration and color accuracy, before & during production—continuously adjusting on-the-fly, producing consistent color output.

Designed to help improve efficiencies and print quality on high value applications, measurements can also take place on long sheets—up to 30” in length—including 6-panel brochures & posters/signage. This Sensing Unit brings a new level of advanced automation, with automatic color patch measurement and front to back registration that can take place before or in real-time production runs.

Availability
The Sensing Unit-A1 is available for the imagePRESS C910 Series powered by the PRISMAsync print server & imagePRESS Server.
