Canon C5045

We just purchased a Canon C5045 and there is an issue with print drivers. We are not using a rip at this time. If a MAC prints first then the PCs can not print, and vice versa. We are using an LPD connection with a PPD on a 10.4.1 MAC and LPD connection with a PS drive on a 10.5.8 MAC.

Anyone have any ideas on what to try?
