we get high school students to come in and do a day of job shadowing. you might ask about something like this and various shops.

Oh, and one of my professors elaborated on the famous saying and added to it:

Those who can, Do
Those who can't, Teach
Those who can't teach, Teach teachers

And here's a sobering thought:

"One half of what technology students learn in college will be outdated by the time they graduate"....
