In 1976, Steve Suffoletto (Buffalo, NY) became a freshman at Rochester Institute of Technology (R.I.T.) in the College of Graphic Arts & Photography (GAP), in the School of Printing. There were about 700 students. Classes were 10 week-long tri-semesters.

2025 Department of Print and Graphic Media Technology deactivated
2025 Department of Packaging still offers printing classes
2025 Dept of Packaging combines print & packaging programs.
1992-1997 Steve provided independent contract training and consulting services for RIT's industry outreach dept.
1997-2010 Steve was an employee of RIT's Technical & Education (T&E) and then Print Applications Laboratory (PAL) departments.
