Color-Logic has announced that the number of different gold colors available for decorative effects has been expanded from 25 to 55. Color-Logic users will no longer find it necessary to stock gold inks or substrates, or to match golds using trial or error.
According to Color-Logic’s Mark Geeves, "Many digital press manufacturers offer silver & gold inks or toners to complement their traditional CMYK inks or toners. But without Color-Logic, these presses are limited to a single gold color. With Color-Logic’s 55 different gold options, these can be used, [saving] precious production time swapping out silver ink or toner to run gold."
