Color Tone Value - CTV by Aptec

Hi Experts,

Does anyone know or hear about the CTV (Color Tone Value) calibration process?
Please explain or share any idea about it if you know!

I do not know how it is, that is why I am here for asking for any explanation!
all I know that is they adjust TVI and care about color value of tonality at the same time!

There is some info on the APTEC site (I translated in Chrome). It appears to be referencing SCTV and possibly applying that to 4/c printing, and they have released an characterization data on CCNB at icc.org. (which is 4/c)

Hi Bret,

I had read these information before, but what I need to know that someone who is actually working on/with this kind calibration, share some idea or any insight about it.
As I know, there are some printers in China and Hongkong which has chance to try and work on it, but no more information.

I am not sure it could become a new trend like G7 process or not, as it has been advertised by Aptec with some advantages, then I thought it could show some prospect in future.

We have conducted a lot of press runs on CTV, in offset 4C, offset 7C, offset in metal, flexo in PVC, flexo in label. The results are very good. Easy to master by pressroom staff. The image shows more detailed and higher contrast.
