Guys i Have Xerox 700 with Creo1.5v color server, the problem i am facing that when i send a new job it is taking too too long to prossess. i have re installed the drivers it worked when i shut it down it went back again to slow mode.
please give me advise

Thanks Adriansto,
The processor is good, there is no problem with its cooling system. when i asked my harware eng he said if there is any problem with prosessor windows will not work.

Look at the file size of the job you're trying to print, and, how are you sending to the rip (PDF, PPML, VIPP, etc). If you're sending as a PDF, try switching to PPML, or visa-versa. Also, make sure the art is optimized - take a good hard detailed look. If the art came from a graphic artist who is not used to designing for digital, it's probably too big and bulky. (Graphic artists who design for offset don't need to worry about how inefficient their art is -- it just changes whether it will take 10 minutes or 20 minutes through their CTP device to cut to the plate. Once the plate is made, it will mount on the press and run at max speed). But, when you are running digital, and you need to merge 5,000 records with that art, it could take hours!

OK, if it is chugging on a print test page, sounds like you may have a networking problem. When all this started, did someone just make changes to your network? Either to the servers themselves, or, with the routing? Also,
if you changed your pc (from a 32-bit machine to a 64-bit machine). If so, the 32-bit driver for your printer will need to be updated to a 64-bit version. Is all of your cabling direct from the rip to the server, or, are you going though one or more ethernet switches to get to the server? Start ruling out each of the possibilities. If no luck there, have the tech rep run a scandisk on the creo rip to test for bad disk spots as well as test for bad memory chips in the rip. Both can slow your processing.

Thanks,
Tech has re installed the creo. problem has been solved.
i have another question that do i need to install any antivirus in the creo server?
