Creo vs. EFI Fiery RIP's

We are a small format offset and digital shop that is going to replace our digital press with a new Xerox 700. We have done all of the research about the printing device but we would like some feedback regarding the RIP.

We have EFI Printsmith for our MIS System and it would make sense to stay with EFI for the RIP. But, we have been told that Creo Rips are faster and convert colors better... is this true? We would like to have a complete streamline work flow (web-to-print, straight to the RIP bypassing prepress personnel).

We were originally leaning towards EFI just because of the MIS-RIP work flow but we want what will work best to streamline things. We will even purchase a new MIS if needed?

What is everyone suggestions, feedback etc.? Thank you in advance for your help!
