Cutting Blankets

is anyone else using a cad machine to cut blankets instead of ordering cyrels? we have begun to do so on the generic mail panel knock outs. it has been a troubling experience so far with distortion and figuring out the best way to set up the files but we seem to be on the right track now. Is anyone else doing this on a daily basis? any tips or suggestions would be helpful.

Do you put the blanket on press and ink it up to register or do you just do it blindly?
