Demonstration Supervisor

We are looking for a Demonstration Supervisor join our VUTEK team in our Meredith NH facility.
Responsibilities:
In-House Demonstrations & Sample Production
· Oversee the organization and scheduling of product demonstrations in Meredith. Supervise all aspects of prospect visits, including pre-visit counseling regarding materials, file formats, speeds, modes and other printer related issues
· Tasks include hosting prospective customers to evaluate equipment and software. Planned activities may include plant tour, meal(s) and entertaining if no sales personnel are present.
· Supervision of Application Specialist staff (entry to mid-level) on daily basis. Direct reports will be responsible for much of the printer and prepress duties. This position interacts daily with the Manager of Applications and Development to assess needs within the Meredith and Brussels Application Groups.
· Position requires regular communication with worldwide sales organization to meet their needs. Make efficient use of resources (staff and equipment) and to understand what the visitor may be interested in as a means of preparing efficiently.
· Demo follow-up activities will be a task performed by this position. This includes printing of files not completed during the course of the demo, assessing remaining needs of prospects to be performed afterwards, and follow-up calls and questions from prospects.
· Supervise the production of printed samples using EFI inkjet products.
· Manage sample request process to ensure delivery expectations are met.
Requirements:
· Position requires an in-depth knowledge of all mainstream desktop publishing and imaging applications. Macintosh OS & Windows OS knowledge and troubleshooting is necessary. Prior scanner experience helpful. Some understanding of basic design and layout aesthetics also necessary.
· A background in modern color management techniques or at least an aptitude for acquiring and conveying this knowledge
· Strong communication skills, written and oral, are necessary to perform this job
· Previous supervisory/management experience is required
· Background in digital inkjet printing is preferred.
