Hello
We are a Mid-size printer.
We have two Indigo digital presses, 3000 & 5500. We have two Xerox Nuvera's and soon to be added to the mix will be a Jpress from Fuji.
We do a bit of complex variable jobs with variable image data with some 20 to 40 thousand records at a time that crashes the RIP on our Indigo devices.
What we are in search of is a robust front end RIP that will be able to RIP these complex variable data jobs and then be able to send the data to our digital presses.
The language that will feed the RIP will vary depending on the required format of the device itself.
I am looking for some input at a Front end RIP that would be fed the variable information process the data then send the data direct to the various devices to print the information.
We have broken the file down to the point of send 500 to 1000 records at a time and printed, but when trying to keep consecutive data in collated order for mail drop, it can get tricky.
Looking for some feed back from others who may encounter the same issue and looking for some input as to if such a digital front end RIP even exsists.
Thanks in Advance for the Help
