Disassembling of old Xerox 550

We are recycling our broken Xerox 550 and I'm having trouble disconnecting the high capacity feeder from the main unit. I've looked for some setup guides but found nothing.
Anyone with experience of taking these apart?

I don't know the 550 specifically, but our J75s have a connecting module between the HCF and main unit, and if you open that module, look towards the bottom, there should be brackets connecting it. You may also have to "lift" or "pull" to get it all loose.
