Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me.
I am running an MBO B21 buckle folder.
Using 80# uncreased stock 8.5"X14".
Not a temperature/humidity controlled environment.
Did a job with a double parallel fold and got a complaint that there major insertion issues because "the fold wasn't tight enough".
We have to be careful with our folds as the toner streaking can be a problem, so I never try for the tightest fold. I did some testing though just to see if I could get the material to lay flat after folding and it still springs back up about a half inch even after resetting roller pressure and even running with no extra "spacer shims" in the roller calipers.
Now I still have no idea if the customer was trying to insert backwards or something like that but I would like to know if it is possible to achieve a tighter fold for this application.
