Duplo booklet makers

Anyone have experience with Duplo booklet makers? We are specifically looking at DPM-700 so we can do landscape booklets. If the 350 had an add-on to allow for that we would probably look at that model. Has Duplo booklet makers been reliable and solid work horses or what are common complaints/issues? We recently look at some Duplo slitters and was not impressed, we ended up buy a multi graph which I am told is now owned by Duplo. Multigraph is a solid workhorse and since install has been up and running with zero issues.

We have a Duplo DPM-700 with square fold, and 20 trays. Once we got past the learning curve we have put alot of volume through it this year. We do NOT have the scoring knife feature so we have to pre score covers which isnt a big deal for us. The booklets are pretty decent. Ran covers with soft touch, coated, laminated and uncoated. from comic books to oblong specialty with envelope inserts. Envelopes can be a little more of a pain. Typically need constant attention to the tray feeding the envelopes. We have the 20 feed trays but love the intelligent feed, so if booklet has more than 20 sheets, we can reverse collate the last tray, or in turn, if booklet has 10 sheets, we can set up each tower as a duplicate. Service is here relatively quickly when we call and is responsive and helpful with training if we need it. Did you have any specific questions?

We have the DBM-700 booklet system with sheet feeder, face trimmer and square fold. It's been working well for us.

At the opposite end of the range, we've had the DBM-150T for about 4 years and it's been a good machine. No complaints or gripes.

Check out the DBM 700 with 4 stitch heads. Impressive set up.
The 2 heads if set up will staple 4 times but very slow.

We run the DBM-600 with 4stitch heads at fairly high volume with little to no issues. It's a workhorse.

I’ve only got the humble dbm 150t (and a 646) and it’s been dead reliable. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another duplo machine if I was in the market.

Duplo equipment is excellent. We have had the little baby DBM150 booklet maker/trimmer for 12 years and can't fault it.
