Epson 9880 question

Recently acquired a slightly-used 9880 in its original carton which on the outside, appeared to be unused - or so I thought. Unpacked it and it has its ink cartridges still in it, I pulled out one and it is dated 2010.

Should I replace all the ink cartridges with new before powering up?
