its interesting to note that we work in an industry that has had more impact on the development of humanity than perhaps any other pursuit..

Printing is what, in large part drew the masses out of ignorance. Before printing, only the privileged few had access to the expensive and relatively few handwritten texts available.

Before Printing, the masses largely had to make do with oral dissemination of wisdom handed down from one generation to the next.

So printing in many respects brings us arguably to the debut of the Internet, which seems to be foretold in the last paragraph of the second attachment that Alois posted?

So does this mean that those with internet access are now the priviledged few?
