Finding Tomorrow’s Workforce: The Focus of APS-22

Printing has a long history of attracting & retaining a workforce that replenishes aging-out journeyman & skilled talent. With a tight labor pool everywhere, Americas Print Show (APS22) has its focus on finding tomorrow’s workforce—with the goal of bringing resources, ideas, education and thought leadership together to address the critical need for workforce development. To achieve this goal, APS22 is hosting a workforce development program at this year’s event to connect print industry business with students, veterans, second chance groups and people with disabilities.

Event Details:
Americas Print Show-2022, Greater Columbus Convention Center—400 N. High St. Columbus, Ohio 43215—August 17-19, 2022.

Program Sessions/Details:
  • August 17th: a lunch & panel discussion highlighting challenges & culture shifts needed to attract a broader group of individuals.
  • Throughout the 3-day event: networking, education, resume / interview skills development and candidate interviews.
  • Workforce Development area, for employer-candidate interaction, including Speed Dating—5 minutes & rotate.
  • Education sessions that address inspiring, recruiting and training the next generation workforce.
  • No cost invitations to participate in the events to leading technical schools / colleges across the country, with graphics programs.
  • Scholarships, direct-to-work and other training opportunities to interest new talent will be featured.
  • A PGSF collaboration with partners to send students personal invitations to attend.
Attendance to the show & participation in the educational sessions throughout the 3-day event is FREE. Register in advance online.
