five color seperation in rip (for color-logic metallic printing system)

We have started special effects unit "Print magic". We have some technical problem regarding pre-press. we have invested in color-logic software to do metallic printing. It has special pallette which has colors that is the combination of CMYK with metallic silver. Now the problem is that the company told to contact any pre-press service unit to set metallic silver as fifth color seperation i.e., spot color. They told that it will be easy for them to set up.
We just give their answer below.
The color-logic Metallic Color SystemTM has been tested and is compatible with most industry standard RIPs and workflows. When outputting a color-logic file, the user outputs in their normal workflow for five color/spot color work. The first time you run a job, you may need to set up the color-logic silver name on your RIP, this is because the Silver separation will not be known to your RIPs lookup table of colors. Adding a spot color to your RIP is an easy process, however please refer to your Administrator or Pre-Press specialist for further assistance.
We don't know how to do this. please somebody help us with full detailed description.

I think they are just saying that you should contact your RIP vendor about loading custom spot color libraries into your RIP so that it recognizes the named color that is embedded in the file you send it. I believe that's a RIP vendor specific process - i.e. how you do it would be different for Rampage, Prinergy, Dalim, Apogee, etc.

sorry color-logic and ajr
I am weak in english. I just said we are investing in color logic software. The details i asked is mentioned in color-logic FAQ section. Based on that i asked local pre-press which they couldn't understand. I sent enquiry to color-logic also. and created a thread in printplanet which you two understood wrongly that i bought pirated software. I am always against piracy. and it is impossible to get pirated color-logic software. I am sure to buy color logic software very soon because it is impressive. By interest of seeing the effect , i just enquired the details. please forgive if my words are wrong.

for color-logic
Sir,
I came to hear the color-logic name only when i was searching a thread about MFX technology. You as a member posted an reply mentioning that you are ready to guide people. So i know you are also member. and also i will know, you will read any thread related to metallic. Knowing that how will i say that i bought color-logic metallic system and mention the thread as color-logic metallic printing system. Actually i wanted to say "Investing" for "invested". That is a small mistake which made you think negatively about me. I regret for that mistake. I created thread just by interest and in positive sense. Nothing more than that. I will contact you for purchase of software and I request your full support. I thank you sir.

For AJR
Sir,
As i said before i am poor in english. On seeing my thread, as a senior member, you could have asked some clarification to me. Rather, by your comments, the company will have some bad impression on me. I accept that the mistake in delivering message is mine. But we are in this printing field for past 35 years and we are well known for honesty. Your words just hurt us. That is why i am here to explain things. Everybody has their own future plans and ambitions. Our words should not go as negative for them. This printplanet is not for arguments. This is for technology sharing. So let us leave back any arguments back and go forward. I thank you sir.
