Font management - Mac vs. Windows

I need a device for designing fonts. Give suggestions, which device would be better for this work?
I think this is not the right forum to ask this question but if by device you mean which platform, then definitely macOS is better than Windows. Glyphs, FontLab and RoboFont are the most popular pieces of type-design software nowadays.

Helvetica and Calibri are top windows fonts which are most reliable with users.
While mac uses Apercu and GT America uses for users.

I still use ATM 4.5 for Windows. You just have to alter the folder locations and it works fine. The application is over 20 years old but works great for management if you can get your hands on it.
