Is there any recommended dot gain you want to achieve for the G7? Or do you just adjust the curve to arrive at the proper delta measurements. and the curve is what it is.

If you're doing G7 you cannot isolate one element like dot gain which, in any case, is replaced by a Neutral Print Density Curve (NPDC).

I haven't found anyone willing to post their dot gain curves before and after G7 especially compared to the old ISO TVI curves just to illustrate the differences.
