Genetic Trasfer Technology Anilox Rollers

wtf is that

New member
Has anyone had any experience with the new Genetic Transfer Technology Anilox rollers for Sheetfed coating units. They claim that you can carry a much better film weight and achieve a higher gloss level on aqueous coating units. They are made by a company in Holland and are meant to be all the rage in Flexo Packaging.

I may say that they are quite good, have not printed ("hands on") myself but the result is fairly good, especially on fulltone values. The halftones is also fairly good, but you will get better results as with "normal" aniloxes at suitable cell volume. However, it is more difficult to judge the volume they will give since they are not specified on volume but rather on small, medium and large size.
