Is it possible to run a shell that has a gold foil starburst through a Xerox C1000?

You do realize a copier is an electrostatic device? Metallic foil and high voltage charges usually don't mix well. This will void your service agreement on most machines.

But what about Foil Laser labels like the following:

we've run these with limited success. They image fine but we've been unable to get the toner to adhere well to the surface. It will resist your basic hand brushing across the sheet but if you put your fingernail on it with light/medium pressure it scratches off. This is on a Xerox 700.
