can any one help me in my problem?
what is the ideal thickness of packing needed for the blanket cylinder (include the planket) required for Heidelberg GTO 52

thanks for all

First you have to figure out what packing you need to get a Plate/Blanket printing squeeze of .004" to .006" assuming you are using a compressible blanket. This is determined by your cylinder undecuts, plate thickness and blanket thickness. Lets say for instance you have a .012" plate cylinder undercut and you are using a .012" thick plate, this would put the plate level with the cylinder bearers and you would require the blanket+packing to be at least .005" above bearer to give you the correct squeeze. Hope that helps.

thanks Cornishpastythighs
but how i can know the undercut value of the plate and blanket cylinder at GTO , is it written onthe digram of the side frame of the machine ?

thank you
