GTO 52 Single Color Press feeder & Impression Problem

Hi Gurus,

Our GTO -52 singe color press is having a problem, when we are printing on coated Paper/card the feeder runs for 10-15 sheets before it stops feeding.
Despite turning off impression, the press is leaving an image on the impression cylinder causing image to be print on the rear of the sheets.
Also, if you turn on the feeder without the impression, it is printing the image on to the paper.

The funny part being, this does not occur on uncoated paper, but only for coated paper.

Seems like the press does not throw off impression, there is a switch OS that you turn on to put the plate are you certain that is not switched on, check your blanket with packing to be .005 mm under or even with bearers else its a mechanical problem, my 2 thoughts at your disposal

Did you resolve your problem, was it mechanical or not?

Check the rubber pads under the 2 grippers that take the sheet from the suction bar for wear. If they are worn the press may not sense a sheet properly as there is air passed through these. I have replaced these and problem disappears in the past.
