Heidelberg Cockpit licence issues?

We had a power cut on Wednesday and ever since it’s happened the PC that’s sends the CIP file to our press has failed to send any files.

We never check this machine, it just runs in the background and has done since 2009!

We have checked it today and Cockpit along with Licence Manager will not start showing an error message.

Heidelberg not very helpful, can’t remotely log in as the machine is XP.

Anybody have any advice?

Thanks

All the relevant Heidelberg software machines must be BOOTED to the desktop in the CORRECT SEQUENCE.
You should have a cheat sheet with the sequence.
Shut them all down. reboot in the right sequence and things probably will re-connect.
YMMV

Thanks for your reply!

We don’t have a cheat sheet, the system was installed in 2009 and we only ever access the PC when problems occur (very rare).

Do you know the sequence?

I don’t think it will make any difference, error message points to “licence server”?

If memory serves me the FIRST machine was the main file server.
Then any additional machines one at a time.
IF they don't connect, shut them down and start over in a different sequence.
PS - they should still have the SAME NAME and IP ADDRESS that they had previously as changes will play havoc with connections.
YMMV.
