Heidelberg Prosetter 74 lift stepper motor problem

I'm having problem with the lift stepper motor of my prosetter 74. During start up, I get the error message "The lift stepping motor cannot find its zero position". I notice during the initialisation, that the lift stepper motor vibrates and the clamp does not move up or down. Then the error message comes up.

Please does anyone have a solution to this problem.

Hello ezeano,
This problem can be solved just by a trained service person. Nothing is wrong with lift motor but another motor needs to be replaced or second posibility one of the light barriers is defective. Call local service. Good luck.
