I bought a Heidelberg SM 74-2, CPC 1.04 with a diskette and a pen.
Year of manufacture 1999.
Please advice how to upgrade CPC 1.04?
To get started, I need free or low-budget software and installation instructions.
I am new to this, I don’t have much experience and any advice is important to me.

Heidelberg will charge you an arm and a leg along with a monthly "maintenance fee"
This may suit your low budget requirements

I downloaded the program and tried it, I got output from it but couldn't get our Heidelberg to load the data correctly, but I think that's just a formatting issue. I haven't purchased from the website, and would avoid directly purchasing from there due to the lack of a valid certificate.

You want auto ink release for cpc104??
There are 2 option
1) from Heidelberg
But prm (press room manger) which comes on subscription base now.
2) 3rd party software to connect cpc104

But before buying
Do you have ctp /ripping station whcih generat cip3 files for above solution??
If not then above software will have no use.
Need further clarification pls let me know
