I was kind of curious what kind of mileage people are getting out of their presses these days. My old shop had two Heidelberg CD102's that were installed in the spring of 1993. At the time that production ended in our plant in June of 2009, both machines had over 600,000,000 impressions each. My regular press was still printing like new. In fact the biggest complaint was that the machine printed too sharp. The other Heidi was in need of a gripper job and a gear alignment, but it would have been good for another 200,000,000 sheets after that refresh. The presses were split up for spare parts for other plants and will never print again.
So I'd love to hear how much paper everyone else getting through their machines.
