asking help how to color manage an hp indigo with color pilot creating color strategy. i need to match an offset press. what steps to take to ensure better visual color matching between my offset press and the hp digital press.

One option might be the Ricoh RACA, profiling made easy.

Once you are done creating a color strategy in Color Pilot on Indigo, you can then point to an ICC file as your target. So for Offset you could use GRACoL or if you have a custom ICC from your offset press could use that. Only thing is after adding the ICC file you need to reprint and read in spot color charts. This is how we went about matching our Flexo Presses. (It was a very good match! We printed a fingerprint file on Indigo and compared it to the original fingerprint file we printed in Flexo)

was there ever instances that your output color shifts every now and then. this a 15k press. we perform all the required start up to ensure color integrity but still we encounter color cast
