HP Latex vacuum

It seem like my HP Latex has more vacuum on the left side than the right. I am having to up the vacuum setting on a lot of jobs to keep from smudging. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried cleaning the vacuum holes on the right hand side of the platen ?

What makes you think that it is vacuum? I only ask because with out nip rollers on our latex I find that loading the media on the take up is hard to do, perfectly.
