We have a Screen PT-R8100 with Agfa Energy Elite Thermal Plates, somehow the plate is not loading flush on the home side of the drum. The image is off by a .0625 inch and as much as .125 inch off from the away side of the drum. We have clean and even wax the loading transport tray, clean the head clamp on the drum. I attach some photos to illustrate. What is the best solution to this problem? Some help please. Thank You!

Hi
I seen same problem before the Ptr 4300 machine.
Both side includes spiral spring. Check them out. Maybe might be worn.

@yavo, thanks for the reply post, I don't have a service manual, where would the spiral spring be located? I did an observation of the loading sequence on the loading tray, I notice the push pins pushes the plate down when loading to the punch, would adjusting this help on the loading of the plate flush to head clamp? Making the image square on the plate?

Hi
I remember; there is metal rectangle pipe under the loading unit right and left side.
After opening the front door you can see under the loading unit.
