Can anyone give me a specific visual example of how the image transfer adjustment actually makes a difference. AND SETTINGS THE USED??

I'd like to make prints a lot more 'cleaner' looking. and smooth

On one instance i put the image transfer adjustment right up to 300% - made sure this custom paper setting was correct for the paper and chose it when setting the paper tray info. From what I could see it didn't make a whole lot of difference.

Would I need to slow the printer down? INCREASE or DECREASE fuser temp??

I've used different choices of profiles (all calibrated) ..... set different paper weights on fiery and machine but prints just seem too dirty/mottled looking.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

We usually have to go lower rather than higher on the transfer adjustment.
Most of our heavy weight stock are between 60-100%.
We have a Versant 2100, 800 and 1000i.

Oh right, I just assumed higher would be better, have tried it a few times and the quality hasn't really moved to improve or worsen.

Will try your method of going lower and see what happens!

Thanks!
