InDesign Personalisation

Are there any plugins available for personalisation in either InDesign or Illustrator?

I have 180 records in an Excel spreadsheet that I need to use for business cards. Is there an easy way to generate separate pages with the info from the spreadsheet? I know this can be done easily with a digital press but this will be printed conventionally.

You can do datamerge, built into InDesign. You would first export your excell file to a tab delimited list. (there is a great videotut on theindesigner.com)
What version are you using?
Also it is possible with illustrator, using data sets, but InDesign is much easier.

I think it's InDesign CS1 (It's my girlfriends company doing the job. I'm in packaging and don't do much work like this but thought I'd try and help)
